I visited Karabakh for the first time in February 2021 in preparation for a new project and I decided to start from Agdam. The land was completely mined and I needed to be escorted by the Azerbaijani. An infinite silence hides destruction and death. This is the show I am in front of. Sad, scary, overwhelming. During the Armenian occupation started in 1993, Agdam suffered systematic destruction that erased its life, culture, history and memory, becoming the largest ghost town
in the world.
